Man shot at Cook Out in Rocky Mount

A 26-year-old man was critically wounded when gunshots were fired in the middle of a disorderly crowd at a Cook-Out restaurant in Rocky Mount early Saturday, police said.

Terrance Andrews was shot in the chest, and bullets struck several vehicles at Cook Out at 1020 N. Wesleyan Blvd. around 3 a.m., police said.

Relatives drove Andrews to Nash General Hospital, and he was later transferred to Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.

Police said the shooter might be driving a white Honda.

The investigation was ongoing.
