Man pleads guilty in January 2000 gunfight

A fugitive who was on the run for seven years pleaded guilty Thursday to involuntary manslaughter in a gunfight that ended with another man's death.

Andrew Lynch was arrested in April 2007 in Georgia for the Jan. 28, 2000, death of Alden Michael Augustine. Investigators said the two men knew each other.

Lynch received a 13- to 16-month prison sentence but was given credit for time served.
