Man killed in Durham shoot-out

A man was killed during a shoot-out with members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force Thursday night in Durham. 

Task force members were attempting to serve warrants at 404 Macon St. around 8 p.m. A suspect wanted for sex charges in Durham was believed to be visiting people at that address, according to police.

Someone at the house fired shots, and task force members returned fire. A man, whose name was not released, was killed.

Several people were at the house, so authorities said they're not sure if the suspect was the one they shot. The man will be fingerprinted to determine his identity, police said. 

No officers were injured in the shooting, according to police. 

The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation will investigate the incident, which is standard procedure in all officer-involved shootings.
