Man killed in attempted robbery
Officers said a man was shot and killed outside the Rocky Top Bar, at 2000 Gillespie St. in Fayetteville, early Sunday.
Fayetteville police said that a 31-year-old man was killed in an attempted robbery early Sunday.
Lonnie Junior Gregory died in the shooting outside the Rocky Top Bar, at 2000 Gillespie St., just before 4 a.m. Gregory was shot once in the chest, police said.
Officers said they had a suspect in mind. They did not release the name of the suspect and no one was in custody.
