Man hospitalized after being shot in Raleigh Friday

At approximately 7:19 p.m., Raleigh Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 200 block of S. Pettigrew Street.

A man is in the hospital after being shot in Raleigh Friday night.

At approximately 7:19 p.m., Raleigh Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 200 block of S. Pettigrew Street. Upon arrival, an adult male was located suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers and detectives are conducting a follow-up investigation.
