Man critically injured in Durham wreck

A Morrisville man was critically injured in a wreck at Page Road and T.W. Alexander Drive in southeastern Durham Wednesday evening, police said.

Police said that around 7 p.m., Michael Thomas Rhodes, 44, failed to stop at a stop sign when turning left from T.W. Alexander Drive onto Page Road. A Toyota pickup truck northbound on Page Road struck his Nissan 240SX car.

Rhodes was taken to Duke University Hospital. The driver of the Toyota suffered minor injuries.

Police haven't filed any charges but said the wreck remains under investigation.
