A Durham County jury found a man guilty Wednesday of second-degree murder in the death of a store owner almost four years ago.

Barry Wayne Kaalund, 63, was convicted of killing Ronnie Sturdivant, owner of Urban Merchants at 605 W. Chapel Hill St. in Durham, on Aug. 30, 2008.

Sturdivant was shot several times, and police found him in the basement of his store.

A judge hadn't sentenced Kaalund as of Wednesday afternoon.
