Man charged with touching woman during burglary

Immanuel Kemp was charged Monday, June 23, 2008, with stealing $1,600 from a Raleigh home and grabbing the buttocks of the woman who lived there before he left.

Raleigh police Monday arrested a man accused of fondling a woman after he broke into her home.

It happened June 15 around 11 p.m. while the victim slept, police said.

Investigators said Immanuel Kemp stole $1,600, then grabbed the woman’s buttocks before leaving.

Kemp was being held in the Wake County Jail on $95,000 bond.
