Man charged with setting Creedmoor home on fire

Police arrested and charged a man in connection to a Creedmoor home fire on April 6.

Jerry Wayne Jefferies was arrested and charged with first-degree arson and damage to an occupied property.

Four people were inside the home, but no injuries were reported.

Jefferies was released on a $75,000 bond on April 10.

Police have not released a motive in the case.
