Man charged with raping child repeatedly

Raleigh police have arrested a 24-year-old man who they believe repeatedly raped a child, according to arrest warrants.

Shaquon Allen Griffin, who has addresses in Durham and South Carolina, faces six counts each of first-degree rape and sexual offense against a child. He was being held in the Wake County jail Friday under a $2 million bond.

The warrants say that the victim, who was 12 years old or younger, was assaulted multiple times on May 10 and 11.
