Man arrested in attempt to pawn watches

A Raleigh man was arrested as he attempted to pawn stolen watches Friday at a Capital Boulevard pawn shop.

According to arrest warrants, Charles Lawrence Cambra, 38, of 4116 Viewmont Drive, tried to sell the watches, valued at more than $7,000, to National Pawn. He faces charges of possession of stolen property and obtaining property under false pretenses.

The warrants list three watches, including a $5,000 Rolex, that Cambra had in his possession which had been stolen from a Knightdale man.

He was being held Monday at the Wake County jail on $60,000 bond.
