Two charged with murder after man, woman found dead at Fayetteville motel

Authorities are investigating after two people were found dead at a Fayetteville motel overnight.

Cumberland County deputies found a man and woman unresponsive at the Cloverleaf Motel on Dobbin Holmes Road just before 1 a.m. on Saturday. Mia Street and Rodney Folger were pronounced dead at the motel.

Ember Davis and Preston Conley were arrested and each charged with two counts of first degree murder. They are both being held without bond at the Cumberland Detention Center.

Street was 26 and lived in Hope Mills. Folger was 34 and lived in Spring Lake.
