Man accused of impersonating a firefighter during active fire in Morganton
During a fire around 12:10 p.m. on Morehead Street near Avery Avenue, authorities say they found a neighbor at the property wearing fire gear while trying to put out the flames with a garden hose. Authorities later identified the man as 37-year-old Victor Miglino.
A man was arrested Wednesday after authorities said he impersonated a firefighter during an active fire.
During a fire around 12:10 p.m. on Morehead Street near Avery Avenue, authorities say they found a neighbor at the property wearing FDNY fire gear while trying to put out the flames with a garden hose.
Authorities later identified the man as 37-year-old Victor Miglino.
Miglino reportedly refused to leave the property or allow them to start putting out the fire.
Burke County deputies took Miglino into custody after he refused to obey commands.
