The Museum of Life and Science has a new slate of special evening events designed for families.

The Museum of Life and Science in Durham has a new slate of special evening events designed for families.
Science Nights offer after-hours play at the museum with a special focus. Tickets are $25 for ages 3 to 17 and $10 per accompanying adult. Tickets include special activities and access to some of the museum's indoor and outdoor spaces. Museum members get a discount.
The events run from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Here's the schedule:
- Sept. 10: Space Explorers - fun for budding astronauts
- Oct. 15: Monster Makers - an evening of monster-themed tinkering
- Nov. 19: Animal Habitat Designer - design the ultimate animal exhibit.
