Cirque du Soleil's 'Quidam' coming to PNC Arena

Country crooner Luke Bryan will be taking the stage at Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek on Saturday night. The 2013 CMA Entertainer of the Year will be joined by Thompson Square and Florida Georgia Line. Tickets are sold out, but keep an eye out because sometimes extra ones are released just before the show.

Looking to celebrate the French holiday Bastille Day this weekend.

Lafayette Village in north Raleigh will have live French-inspired music, promotions and food and drinks from noon until 10 p.m. on Saturday.

On Sunday, Coquette Brasserie in North Hills is holding its fourth annual celebration complete with its annual Waiter Race – pitting servers from some of Raleigh best restaurants in a race around the block carrying a single glass of champagne. Winner gets $250!

Margaux's Restaurant and the Piedmont Restaurant are also hosting Bastille Day celebrations this weekend.

Get ready for music, acrobats and the feeling of wonder that can only be Cirque du Soleil. This unique circus will bring its show Quidam to the PNC Arena through Sunday. The story follows a young girl who escapes into an imaginary world. Tickets start at $35.

The musical comedy "Altar Boyz" is at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts this weekend. The show tells the tale of a Christian boy band touring the country. The self-appointed apostles of pop sing lyrics like "Jesus Called me on My Cell Phone."

Altar Boyz is a foot-stomping, rafter-raising, musical comedy about a fictitious Christian boy-band on the last night of their national 'Raise the Praise' tour.

Goodnight's Comedy Club in Raleigh is hosting the World Series of Comedy all weekend. Watch comedians battle it out for the crown as the funniest!

The 9th annual Summertime Brews Festival will bring together beer connoisseurs from around the country. As many as 300 beer are expected to be on tap! The event runs from 2:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and tickets start at $35.
