Happy birthday! A local World War II veteran just turned 100 and was honored with a birthday party at Chick-fil-A to celebrate.

Vivian Cunningham, a Navy veteran, celebrated with a birthday party at Chick-fil-A Southern Pines in Aberdeen, where she is a regular customer. The Chick-fil-A organized the party and invited the community, who showered her with cards and gifts.

According to Chick-fil-A, Cunningham lives in Pinehurst with her caregiver, Lisa, and her son, Bill.

The restaurant posted on Facebook, "We are honored to recognize her achievement and serve her after her years of dedicated service for our country.
