A Cary mom has collected clothes for the national nonprofit Loved Twice to be delivered to needy new moms.

I wrote about Christina Kodesh a  couple of months ago. Click here to see that earlier post.

The Cary mom started a local chapter of the national nonprofit Loved Twice, which delivers boxes of clothes to dress a baby during the first year of life to needy new moms. Kodesh has been very busy collecting clothes and filling up boxes. And this week, she planned to deliver her first 10 boxes, which total about 120 pounds of clothes, to Duke University Medical Center. (Full disclosure: Duke Medicine is Go Ask Mom's sponsor, but that's completely unrelated to Loved Twice and what they've done).

Kodesh tells me that she has more clothes to pack and hopes to make another delivery later this month. And, of course, she is still collecting clothes. So if you have gently used or new clothes in size newborn to 12 months and want to unload them, contact Kodesh. You can reach her through this email address: nclovedtwice@yahoo.com.
