During Teacher Appreciation Week 2023, multiple restaurants are offering freebies and discounts!
The official Teacher Appreciation Week dates in 2023 are May 8-12.

Bruegger's Bagels
Bruegger's Bagels is celebrating teachers by offering everyone 20% off e-Gift Cards when purchased online.
Dickey's Barbeque Pit
From May 8th – May 12th, teachers will get a free Big Yellow Cup with a minimum purchase of $10 with show of valid employment ID. The offer is also valid for nurses May 6th – 12th. See the details on the Dickey's Barbeque Pit website.
Firehouse Subs
From Monday, May 8 through Friday, May 12 teachers can enjoy a medium sub from Firehouse Subs with the purchase of an additional medium or large sub, chips and drink.
To redeem, teachers will need to show proof of employment, such as an ID badge, at the register at participating locations. Freddy's
Freddy's is offering teachers a Free Mini Sundae from 5/8-5/12 at participating locations when you present valid school ID. There is a limit of one mini single-topping sundae per teacher or faculty member. No purchase is necessary. See the details on their Facebook page.

Teachers get 1 free Insomnia Cookies 6-pack with a $5 in-store purchase from 5/5 to 5/12 with proof of employment (work ID, pay stub) according to their Twitter post.
McAlister’s Deli
McAlister’s Deli is offering teachers a free 32-ounce tea from May 3-10 when you show your valid ID at participating locations.
Metro Diner

Shake Shack
Shake Shack is offering a free hand-spun shake when you show your badge at and the register from 5/8/23 - 5/12/23. Limited-time flavors are excluded. Offer details were sent via e-mail to subscribers on May 8, 2023. Valid at participating locations.
Sonic Drive-In
Teachers, faculty and staff at a K-12 or degree-granting university in America can get a free Sonic cheeseburger with a purchase from May 9 through May 16 when you enroll in the SONIC Teachers’ Circle. This free rewards program is exclusively available for educators through the SONIC app. The offer is available for one time use.
In addition, on May 9, the SONIC Foundation will match 50% of each donation to teachers’ requests on DonorsChoose, up to $1.5 million. SONIC fans and guests can visit DonorsChoose.org, where thousands of teachers have posted requests seeking support to engage students with classroom resources. They can also simply text GIVE to 31869 and receive a direct link to a teacher’s classroom in their local community.
These two initiatives are part of Limeades for Learning, SONIC’s 14-year charitable program that has donated more than $24 million to funding local classrooms across the country

Teachers (and nurses) can win one of 10,000 free Subway Series sandwiches through a new program, Subway Serves, that runs from May 8 through May 12.
