New Zealand Footnotes

Thank you for all of the kind comments on the New Zealand series of stories and slideshow. It was a great trip and it thrilled me that so many of you enjoyed the reports of the vacation.

Many asked me about the music on the slideshow and what type of camera I used. Two tracks were used: "South Mountains" and "Moses Owl." Both are on my latest album Blue Ridge Reunion.

I took the photographs using a Canon EOS Rebel XSi. Special thanks to Jeff Reeves for his coaching me prior to the trip. I also used a Tascam DR-1 digital pocket recorder to capture natural sounds for the slideshow and a future CD.

Several of you asked about my favorite picture.  I think it would have to be Milford Sound in the late afternoon. I am attaching the photograph to the blog here. Thanks again!
