Kidzu Children's Museum is entering its teen years.

The children's museum will celebrate its 13th birthday Sunday with Kidzu Day, an afternoon of special activities, games and more for families. Admission will be based on what each family can afford to pay. Activities, which are free, are scheduled for 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, at the museum at University Place.

The day includes games, a puppet show, a Spanish storytime, a live musical performance by The Vaisey Family Band and the opportunity to create your own game and musical instruments in the museum's Makery. There also will be some birthday cake (while supplies last).

More information is on Kidzu's Facebook event page.
