Kids get 'all access pass' at Raleigh Touch-a-Truck event

It's 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, at the Julia Jones Daniels Center for Community Leadership, 711 Hillsborough St., Raleigh. Tickets are $5 or $15 for a family of four. Kids under 2 are free.

The South Atlantic Fire Rescue Expo's fire truck parade rolled down Fayetteville Street on Saturday.

Kids will get an all access pass at the Junior League of Raleigh's first Touch-a-Truck event this weekend.

It's 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, at the Julia Jones Daniels Center for Community Leadership, 711 Hillsborough St., Raleigh. Tickets are $5 or $15 for a family of four. Kids under 2 are free.

Kids will get to explore, climb and touch trucks, emergency response vehicles and heavy machinery. They include vehicles from Raleigh Fire Department, Wake County EMS, John Deere and WRAL.
