It takes dozens of trees, hundreds of wreaths and flowers, and thousands of feet of garland to deck the halls at the Biltmore Estate.

The massive Kids Exchange consignment sale, which pops up at the N.C. State Fairgrounds in Raleigh twice a year, is trying something new for the Christmas season.

The sale will hold a Christmas Toy Exchange on Nov. 20 and Nov. 21 at the fairgrounds' Holshouser Building. There's still plenty of time to sign up to sell items. The sale will be accepting gently used toys; gift quality books and videos; Christmas and Thanksgiving apparel; gently used Christmas decorations; and new and unused re-gifting items for moms and dads.

It sounds like a great way to clean out closets and take advantage of some great deals as you shop for gifts.

Organizers also plan a vendor street fair with homemade products, crafts and original Christmas gift ideas.

The Kids Exchange website has more information about selling, buying and setting up a table in the vendor fair.
