Celebrating Appalachian State's win Saturday, just outside the stadium tailgating with fans was retired NFL player Jason Kelce.
At Kidd Brewer Stadium, Kelce, decked out in the game-day black-and-gold overalls, took photos with fans before going inside to cheer for the Mountaineers.

He also spoke at halftime, saying the western North Carolina school was special. Appalachian State University was one of the schools hit hard after Helene devastated the area.

On Sunday, his brother Travis Kelce with the Kansas City Chiefs will be playing in Charlotte against the Panthers.
