Jail records reveal mother of missing Tennessee baby not pregnant

Sullivan County jail records reveal Megan Boswell, the mother at the center of a statewide Amber alert, is not pregnant.

Charges have now been placed against the mother of 15-month-old Evelyn Boswell, who is the subject of a statewide AMBER Alert. During the course of the investigation, Megan ëMaggieí Boswell (DOB: 3/21/01) provided detectives and agents with a number of conflicting statements.  Further investigation revealed that some of the information provided by Megan Boswell was false.

Sullivan County jail records reveal Megan Boswell, the mother at the center of a statewide Amber alert, is not pregnant.

Megan Boswell previously stated to WCYB in an interview that she was pregnant, which is why she was not able to take a polygraph test.

"I am pregnant ... that's why they wont give me a polygraph. Due to policy if you are pregnant they will not give you one," Boswell told WCYB.

Sheriff Jeff Cassidy stated in a press conference on Wednesday that Boswell, the mother of missing 15-month-old baby Evelyn, has made inaccurate statements to police before.
