November 21st: Light Up the City - 6 p.m.

Downtown Washington

Kick off the holidays with a tree lighting followed by refreshments at the Harbor District Market. Walking down the village-like Main Street, you’ll catching twinkling lights everywhere. Be sure to say hi to our special guest, Santa!

November 24-25th: Kris Kringle Holiday Village - 12-5 p.m.

80 Mill Road
Arts, crafts, and family entertainment events to kick off the holiday season. Children's activities tents will be featured alongside artists, carolers, craftspeople, and local businesses. The is a fun, family-friendly event destined to become a family tradition.

November 25th: Small Business Saturday - Hours may vary

Small Business Saturday is a chance to shop locally owned businesses, and find one of a kind gifts while supporting local small businesses.

December: Harbor Walk of Lights

Stewart Parkway/Boardwalk

Throughout the month of December, stroll along the promenade and the boardwalk and take in the views of boats in the harbor decked out in their lighted holiday finery.

December 1st-2nd: Holiday Homecoming: Exploring Homes, Heritage and the Vibrant Local Business Scene - Fri. 4-8 p.m.; Sat. 10-4 p.m.

Historic District; starts at the Turnage Theatre

This year's Annual Homes Tour has a new name and will feature a combination of sixteen unduplicated homes and businesses in Downtown Washington NC.

The Holiday Homecoming: Exploring Homes, Heritage, and the Vibrant Local Business Scene acts as an annual fundraiser supporting the Beaufort County Arts Council which is housed in the Historic Turnage Theatre in Washington, NC. Get your tickets here!

December 2nd: Christmas Parade - 10 a.m.

Nothing beats a traditional hometown Christmas parade! Downtown shops will offer special sales and refreshments after the parade.

December 2nd-3rd: Harbor District Christmas Market - Sat 9-5 p.m.; Sun 1-5 p.m.

December 3rd: Beaufort County Choral Society Christmas Concert - 3 p.m.

December 7th: Jingle Mingle - Hours may vary

December 15th: Emerald City Big Band - 7 p.m.
