Hole partially blocks I-85 in Henderson

Crews directed traffic Wednesday morning around a large hole on Interstate 85 south, near mile marker 209, in Vance County.

Heavy rain washed away gravel and rocks, which formed the hole, officials said. The hole was about 15 feet long and 1 ½ feet deep.

There was no word on when the hole will be fixed.
