Join us for the 9th Annual Tee It Up For a Cure Monday September 24, 2012 to benefit the Chapel Hill Breast Cancer Foundation. Not only will there be a gold tournament, there will also be dinner and a silent auction.

In case you couldn't make it to the Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic, the Croasdaile Country Club is hosting a similar golf-based fundraiser to benefit the Chapel Hill Breast Cancer Foundation.

The Ninth Annual Tee It Up For A Cure will begin at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24. The price to register is $150 per golfer, which includes one mulligan, a raffle and drink ticket, lunch with beverages on the course and access to the awards dinner, cocktail party and silent auction.

If your golf skills aren't up to par, tickets to only the awards dinner and silent auction are available for $25. Volunteers, sponsors and donors are also encouraged to participate. The registration form can be found on Croasdaile Country Club's website.

Funds raised by the event will benefit the Chapel Hill Breast Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provide grants for early-phase breast cancer research at Duke, UNC, and Wake Forest Universities. In the past 15 years the foundation has raised more than $500,000 for research projects in breast cancer detection and treatment.
