Hillsborough church theft investigated

The Orange County Sheriff's Office has opened an investigation after items were taken from a Hillsborough church Wednesday evening.

Deputies said a larceny took place at Abundant Life Church, 512 U.S. Highway 70 East/N.C. Highway 86, around 6:30 p.m. Officials did not specify what was stolen.
