HighSchoolOT's final statewide and area code rankings for girls soccer
Eastern Alamance started the year third in the HighSchoolOT statewide girls soccer rankings and never went any lower.
At season's end, the N.C. High School Athletic Association 3A champs are tops.
The Eagles are one of two undefeated teams in the final statewide top 25, joining 2A champ Manteo in third.
In total, five state champions are represented in the final top 25 rankings (note: three other champions — Crossroads Christian in NCISAA 1A, Forsyth Country Day in NCISAA 3A, DASH United in the NCHEAC — didn't crack the statewide list but did make their respective area code rankings):
- 3A champ Eastern Alamance (first)
- 4A champ Ardrey Kell (second)
- 2A champ Manteo (third)
- NCISAA 4A champ Charlotte Latin (10th)
- 1A champ Christ the King (17th)

Any school that plays in an education-based association is eligible for the rankings, including homeschool teams. This was the first year of this format, while previous years were split into East and West divisions.
