High-speed chase ends in North Raleigh neighborhood early Thanksgiving morning
A high-speed chase came to an end in a North Raleigh neighborhood early Thanksgiving morning.
The chase began on I-87 around midnight, according to officials.
Troopers chased the driver to Spring Forest Road and Meadow View Drive in Raleigh, where the chase ended – not far from North Ridge Village and Millbrook Magnet High School.
The driver is in custody, and troopers cleared the scene just before 2 a.m.
Police arrested Tyler Daniel Jupiter early Thursday morning. The 16-year-old boy is charged with fleeing to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, reckless driving, failure to heed to a light or siren, not having a license, speeding and failure to stop at a red light. Jupiter was given a $20,000 bond.
