Hope Mills police have arrested a second suspect and are seeking to identify a third in connection with a bank robbery Tuesday afternoon.

Police said that a Crime Stoppers tip led to the Thursday arrest of Zachery Desmond Stewart, 16, in connection with the robbery of the First Citizens Bank on Bragg Boulevard.

Stewart faces charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy. He was given a $100,00 secured bond.

A former student at Cape Fear High School in Fayetteville, Stewart had moved to Robeson County and was attending Purnell Swett High School, police said.
