Hedingham shooting survivor Lynn Gardner was released from the hospital on Wednesday.
According to the GoFundMe page set up for Gardner, she will continue her physical and occupational therapy at home.

Since the shooting in October 2022, Gardner has undergone numerous surgeries. She had a handful of setbacks along the way, but clearly persevered, with her friends and family calling her a "walking miracle."
Wednesday marked Gardner's 98th day in the hospital.
Gardner was critically hurt on Oct. 13, 2022, when a 15-year-old gunman opened fire in the Hedingham neighborhood in east Raleigh and on the Neuse River greenway, killing five people. It included the gunman's 16-year-old brother, James Thompson.
On Wednesday, Gardner was pictured wearing a shirt that reads"Today is My Day."
WRAL News also spoke with Gardner’s friend Erin Mullinix, who said Gardner is adapting to a new way of life.
“It’s still not the old [normal] and it’s not going to be for a while,” Mullinix said. “She’s definitely has a long road to recovery.
“We’re just really glad to see her out and about doing that now.”
Months ago, Gardner reunited with her dog Baebee for the first time in several weeks.
Gardner was shot outside the home of her friend, Nicole Connors.
Connors did not survive.
