Alfreda wants people to know more about Morris than just the news report of the accident.

She shared photos with WRAL news, describing Morris, 65, as a retired FedEx employee, a loving husband for 40 years, a father of two sons, and a grandfather of two.

"I'm still in shock right now," Alfreda Johnson, the widow, said.

She remembers Morris for his love of people and his ability to connect with everyone he met.

His son, Reginald Morris, says the same thing about his father, "He was just a bright light to everybody and he will forever be missed, but I know his name will never fade."

Alfreda believes Morris may have suffered a seizure before the crash, as he had a history of them. The family is waiting for the medical examiner to release his body.

Despite her recent loss, Alfreda maintained being calm. She says she focuses on the happy memories and the love Morris gave her throughout their years together.
