Harris Teeter has rolled out a new ExpressLane Online Shopping fee structure including incentives for annual and monthly subscription memberships.

The company is now waiving the service fee on all ExpressLane orders over $100 and offing a tiered fee structure that is based on the amount of your online order. The minimum order must be $25.

According to a statement from Harris Teeter on January 7, 2021, the following fee structure is now in place:

$4.95 service fee for orders $25 to $49.99

$2.95 service fee for orders $50 to $99.99

$0.00 service fee for orders over $100

On Thursdays from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., the service fee for senior shoppers aged 60 and older is waived and they offer $4.95 delivery during this time.

In the past, Harris Teeter charged $4.95 for every order if you did not have a subscription.

ExpressLane Online Shopping Subscription Incentives

In addition to changing the fee structure, Harris Teeter has also added some incentives for shoppers who purchase an annual or monthly ExpressLane subscription. The incentives are available to anyone with a subscription, not just new subscribers, according to the company.

The annual subscription fee is $99.95 per year and the monthly subscription is $16.95 per month.

Incentives for Annual ExpressLane subscription members:

* Double Fuel Points

* 5% off their purchase of Harris Teeter brand items

* $25 minimum order restriction waived

* $4.95 fee for delivery services

* Exclusive discounts and offers

* $4.95 pick-up fee waived

Incentives for Monthly ExpressLane subscription members:

* Double Fuel Points

* 5% off their purchase of Harris Teeter brand items

* $25 minimum order restriction waived

* $4.95 pick-up fee waived

In the above information, the terms pick-up fee and service fee are interchangeable.

Using Coupons For ExpressLane Orders

You can actually use coupons with the ExpressLane service but they will not be applied to your current order. The coupons you give to the employee when you pick up an order are applied to your next ExpressLane purchase. In order to redeem those coupons on the next order, it has to be placed at the same store you were at when you gave the coupons to the employee.
