Hadley's Cafe has opened in the old home of The Borough in downtown Raleigh.

The 1920s-inspired restaurant and bar at 317 W. Morgan St. quietly opened over the weekend. The menu includes gourmet sandwiches, salads and house-made soups. The bar is serving up craft cocktails.

The restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.

This is the latest venture from Drew Schenck and Kevin Barrett, who are also opening the private tavern Dram & Draught on Hillsborough Street.

Shenck owns Rally Point Sports Grill in Cary, while Barrett was most recently employed at Foundation.
