Is your son speeding toward puberty? You might want to sign up for Guy Talk at the Poe Center for Health Education.

Guy Talk, according to the description, is designed for fathers and son and is designed to "equip boys with accurate age-appropriate information developed to help with healthy growth and development." Topics include the changes that happen during puberty, the reproductive systems, proper nutrition and hygiene, and online safety.

Hands-on activities and Poe’s 3-D theater exhibits aim to make it an engaging and interactive experience that encourages open conversations between fathers and sons.

It takes place from 9 a.m. to 11 .m., June 23, at the Poe Center near downtown Raleigh. More information is on the Poe Center's website.

Registration is $25 for each father and son pair and $10 for each additional son. Guy Talk is best for boys in fifth to eighth grade.
