Greenville police: 18-year-old Wendy's employee wanted after shooting woman at drive-thru
Greenville police are looking for a teenager who they say is responsible for shooting a customer at a Wendy's on East Arlington Boulevard in December.
Freedom Chapel Morris, 18, from Winterville, has a warrant out for his arrest on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
Morris was working at Wendy's on Dec. 10 when he got into a fight with another employee working the drive-thru. Morris then shot the gun toward the employee and shot a woman waiting for her food at the drive-thru, officials said.
The woman didn't realize until later that she was struck in the leg by a stray bullet, according to the Greenville Police Department. Her injury was not life-threating and no one else was hurt during the shooting.
