Goodmons retell story of American Tobacco revival

The American Tobacco Campus is celebrating 10 years since its renovation, a renaissance driven by the vision of Capitol Broadcasting Company President and CEO Jim Goodmon.

The result has been a revival of downtown Durham. 

Earlier this year, StoryCorps brought a mobile recording unit to the ATC. The national organization wants to give people from all walks of life a chance to record their stories.

Goodmon was among those who took advantage of the opportunity. He recorded this story about the transformation of American Tobacco with his son Michael.
