Goat no longer on lam in Durham

Durham County animal control officers apprehended a goat that was on the loose downtown for several hours Monday.

The male goat was caught at 930 W. Markham St. Monday afternoon.

Authorities said they don't know who the goat belongs to, and they plan to auction the animal off in 45 days if no one claims it before then.
