The blocks were a big hit at the Go Ask Mom playdate Sept. 13, 2014, at the Midtown Farmers' Market.

We're excited to be hosting some fun activities for kids this summer over at North Hills as part of its North Hills Kids programming.

We'll be there from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., May 4, to help kick off the 2015 season of North Hills Kids, which features free play and activities in the commons area next to Ben & Jerry's and Starbucks and across from the movie theater. There will be big foam blocks to play with; a performance from Preston Clarke, a local dad and creator of Notasium; a visit from First in Fire Company's fire truck; activities with Flour Power Kids Cooking Studio; free child IDs; and more.

North Hills Kids will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, starting May 1.

North Hills will add activities on Tuesday mornings starting June 16 at Midtown Park, which is across Six Forks Road and next to the Chuy's restaurant. And Go Ask Mom will be out there July 14 with more fun activities.

Stay tuned for details about both events here on Go Ask Mom!
