Go Ask Mom at Crabtree Valley Mall for Team WRAL event

I'm excited to be a part of a special event on Saturday to support WRAL's Race for the Cure team.

The event is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, at Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh. Come to learn more about breast health, win prizes and meet WRAL's public Race for the Cure Team co-captains, anchors Gerald Owens and Jackie Hyland and meteorologist Mike Maze. (Maze and Hyland will be there 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Owens will be on hand 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.)

The 2015 Race for the Cure is June 13 at Meredith College in Raleigh.

On Saturday, Mrs. Fields is making a giant cookie cake. Get a piece for a donation to Komen NC Triangle to the Coast. Visitors also will be able to enter a chance to win a $100 Belk gift card.

Go Ask Mom will be there from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with some crafts. We'll have coloring sheets and quick crafts for kids to create breast cancer awareness ribbons with beads and pipe cleaners. I look forward to seeing some Go Ask Mom readers out there!
