The manufacturer of a gas range hasn’t been able to stop the appliances from releasing dangerous levels of carbon monoxide in peoples’ homes.

5 On Your Side first told you about a recall on ZLINE gas stoves back in December of 2022.

The company said they’d fix the CO leaks but since the initial recall, 131 customers say those repairs haven’t worked.

ZLINE is now expanding the recall and will refund or replace any of the ranges under the recall.

That includes model numbers RG30, RGS-30, RGB-30, RG36, RGS-36, RGB-36, RG48, RGS-48 and RGB-48.

All customers who have an affected range should immediately stop using the oven compartment, even if they have already had their range repaired as part of the prior recall.

ZLINE says the range tops are not affected by the issue and can continue to be used.

The appliances were sold at Best Buy, Lowe’s and The Home Depot from February 2019 through December 2022.

Customers can call ZLINE at 833-226-1400 or email rgrecall@zlinekitchen.com or go to http://www.zlinekitchen.com/recalls for more information.
