Garner man accused of inappropriately touching a child

A Garner man is accused inappropriately touching a 14-year-old boy.

Randy Robertson, 48, was arrested at his place of work, GFI software in Cary, on Friday afternoon, Garner Police Sgt. Joe Binns said.

Robertson is charged with taking indecent liberties with a child. The incident allegedly occurred in April at a playground near Garner United Methodist Church, Binns said. Robertson was at the church helping with a mission program.

Robertson was released on a $50,000 bond on Friday. He is due is court on Monday.
