Garbage trucks will come earlier in Durham

To accommodate workers who labor outdoors, the City of Durham will collect garbage, yard waste and recycling one hour earlier during the summer months.

Residents are asked to place carts on the curb the night before their scheduled pickup. Collection crews will arrive in most neighborhoods by 6 a.m.
