The Fuquay-Varina Police Department has charged two men as part of an undercover operation targeting human trafficking.

Police officers from multiple cities went undercover to find suspects soliciting sex acts for money.

Brandon Ferguson, 38, of Wake Forest, was charged with one count of solicitation of prostitution and one count of simple possession of marijuana, and Je’vonte Little, 24, of Wilson, was charged with one count of solicitation of prostitution.

The Cary Police Department, the Apex Police Department and the Fayetteville Police Department participated in the operation, a collaborative effort to combat human trafficking and prostitution in the Town of Fuquay-Varina.

Both suspects were released at the scene. Court dates have been set in Wake County.
