Fuquay-Varina children's consignment business for sale
Amy Sugg, who helped launch The 2nd Look Boutique consignment sales and last year opened The 2nd Look Boutique shop in Fuquay-Varina, is selling her store.
In an email to consignors and customers, Sugg wrote that the decision to sell her business was a hard one.
"But with health problems and the possibility of relocating, I have decided to step down from my current role and pass the torch to a new owner," she wrote.
I first met Sugg when she and a couple of friends started The 2nd Look consignment sales a few years ago. Sugg later took over the sale. Last spring, she opened the store in downtown Fuquay-Varina after shoppers at the sales started asking her if she had a store.
In her email, Sugg said she didn't want to close up the shop because it's been successful.
"This is a great opportunity for someone who's always wanted to own their own business," she wrote. "With more people shopping local and re-purposing items, I can tell you that consignment shops are a great investment. The initial establishment and ground work has already been done. We have a solid client base, existing consignors and customers, a useful network of contacts, along with a good business reputation to capitalize and build on; making this shop a turn-key operation."
