The Museum of Life and Science's popular indoor winter exhibit Frozen Over is back.
The pop-up space is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., through Jan. 28, inside the Durham museum's main building. It features a variety of "winter fun," including an icicle forest made of pool noodles, an "icy" shelter, a synthetic ice rink and twice daily indoor snowball fights.
Special drop-in tinkering activities are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Tuesday and Thursday. Those snowball fights happen at 11 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., daily.
Frozen Over is free with admission, which is $13 for kids ages 3 to 12 and $18 for adults. Frozen Over is best for toddlers, preschoolers and young grade schoolers.
