Update: This offer is no longer available to claim. If you opened the Chick-fil-A app by 11:59 pm on April 28 (and you were in the Triangle area when you opened it), the freebie should be in the Rewards section on the Chick-fil-A app and available to redeem on April 29.

Score a FREE Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich offer valid on April 29 for Triangle area locations if you load the offer by midnight on April 28 because the Hurricanes won their home game! Go Canes!

To get the deal, log in to the Chick-fil-A app (or download and create an account if you don't have one) and you should see the offer loaded in the My Rewards section.

You have to open up their app by midnight on the day the Hurricanes win a home game in order for it to be automatically loaded to your My Rewards section. You also have to be in the Triangle area in NC for it to load to your account.

If you do not see if in the Rewards section once you have logged in, make sure you have your location settings turned on and that you are signed in. If you still do not see the offer available to load, log out and log in again. If it is still not there, your store may not be participating. You may even need to delete the app and then download it again to get it to work.
