Crews plugging leak in Franklin water system

Franklin County Public Utilities crews have located and isolated a water leak affecting the system's customers, officials said Wednesday.

The system asked water customers early Wednesday to initiate emergency conservation measures because of a possible leak. Public Utilities Director Bryce Mendenhall said he expects no loss of service, adding that repairs should be complete by late afternoon.
