Franklin County nurse arrested on 75 drug-related charges

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office Investigation Unit has arrested a nurse on 75 drug-related charges.

Investigators said 37-year-old Tamsey Watkins works for a company that provides medical services to the Franklin County Detention Center.

They said she ordered prescriptions for inmates who are no longer in custody.

She is charged with obtaining a controlled substance by fraud and trafficking opiates.
